Revlon ColorStay Cream Eyeliner Review

So I've basically been using this as my go-to liner for the past two months. No eye shadow, just a swipe of liner, some gloss, and rushing out the door.

It's a sleek little bottle, and they cleverly attach the brush to the lid. I actually just found out yesterday that you can connect the brush to the lid to extend the brush handle. I prefer it on its own. The pot it's self holds plenty of liner gel, and I've barely scratched the surface as you can see in the picture above.

The color itself is just a brown. The consistency is great, it swipes on very easily with no mess, and above all, it stays put all day with zero creasing. I didn't even need primer. The brown color is perfect for everyday wear or dramatic. It has a light shine to it that makes it just noticeable enough.

It's a nice liner, and a good drugstore purchase to add to my collection. Liners are not really worth a big price tag to me.

Lalala !

Cover Girl Blast Flipstick Lip Stick review

Out of all the colours in this collection, this combination is the most attractive looking to me. The different colours makes it more worth the money for sure versus the other duos where the colour is two similar. Yes they're pretty, but the contrast this colour supplies is really pretty worn together, or just each on their own.
The packaging is pretty, and I like how the colour of the packaging fades into the colour of the lipstick on each side.
Now, the over all consistency once I put the colours on...
I have very few lipsticks that I am pleased with once I put them on my lips. Maybe I'm not prepping correctly, but except for my M.A.C. and my Chanel lipsticks, all of my others just don't settle correctly. They look chunky and begin to turn pasty in only a short while.
This Cover Girl lip colour was alright. There seem to be big sparkly bits in the colour that, when it begins to become pasty on my lips, I can clearly see. Yes, it looks very nice when I put either or both on. They blend very nicely with each other, or look gorgeous on their own. I prefer the red alone than the gold, based on my skin tone.
The verdict ? It was worth the purchase. I don't know if I'd buy any of the others, and the consistency is only average, but the colours are a great combination, and the shine when I first apply it is very attractive.

M. A. C. Viva La Glam Lipstick Review

M.A.C. lip colour in Viva Glam Gaga

My boyfriend knows how much I love Gaga, and he knows how much I love make up, and he for some reason decides to support my obsessions. In addition to buying my first M. A. C. pallet, he bought me this Viva La Glam lipstick. I don't even know where or how he got it, as the new one is already out meaning this one is no longer being sold. Anyhow I was ecstatic, and after continuous, now I have to share my opinion.

When I first removed it from its packaging, I felt as if I was holding some holy device. I love the design and the shiny pink signature they adorn it with. Almost as if Gaga hand-signed it... right. After I removed the cap and examined the color, I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. The colour looks great on the advert for it, but in person it seemed too nude. The smell is wonderful though for a lipstick.

I wore it multiple times trying to get a feel for it and see what it looks best with. The conclusion for me is that it definitely needs a strong eye. I went with a natural look most of the time, but a defined natural eye, if that's even possible.

Would I buy this again ? If it wasn't for Lady Gaga's design on the packaging, I'm not too keen on this nude. It's not the most flattering, at least for my tone. It also creases on the sides of my lips. Not sure if all M.A.C. lipsticks do this, but it was kind of icky to see the corners of my mouth harboring pasty lipstick residue. It does photograph quite well, in my opinion.

Must go to sleep. This is the first time my boyfriend has fallen asleep before me as well, what a feat !

My first M. A. C. Pallet

Left: Mulch ~ Right: Sketch

The only other M. A. C. eye shadow I have is All That Glitters. The only other M. A. C. make up I have is a lip stick, liner, and foundation. I love M. A. C. make up, like every other make up junkie, but I simply cannot afford it. I'm kind of a cheap broke-ass bum. Drug store make up is my area of expertise, I guess you could say. That and all the high end make up I get as gifts. That helps make me feel slightly glamourous...

Anywho, my lovely lovely boy knows how much I love face paint, so he tricked me into telling him some of my favourites I see on youtubers, and wa la ! A pretty little pallet and some travel cases too ! I'm sure most M. A. C. and make up lovers already have these colours, but I felt the need to photograph and show the world.

Come fly with me.

shirt ... Burton, Jack's Surf Shop
shorts ... diy cutoffs
shoes ... Zara

So I was watching America's Nex Top Model... yes, pathetic and cheesy, I know. I was watching a photo shoot, and I couldn't help but notice that the ones that girl that did really well, was jumping and moving around. This time when I went out to take pictures, my inner ballerina finally came out.

I think these shots came out mighty nice ! Trust me, I'm not as graceful as the pictures seem... not at all.
I've attached some photos below of make up things, a black cat eye and a pink lip. I don't know they brands, other than the lipstick is an old tube from my grandma, and the eye liner is from one of those gift sets from ages ago, I'm a make up hoarder.
Who's ever observant enough to notice, yes I have dry skin. I actually have terrible skin, and am in the process of recovering. Any tips on handling dry/sensitive skin would be wonderful.
