shirt, vintage (mom's)
dress, vintage (mom's)
shoes, second-hand, Love Saves the Day

The dress is actually a maternity dress I do believe. I love love love it.
I found out that those shoes are new on the market. I got them for a great price at a second-hand store.

I am so excited to do a California haul... I buy so much out here ! It's basically my back to school shopping.

Flower Power

dress ... Victoria's Secret
cardigan ... Abercrombie & Fitch
shoes ... Lucky Brand; Macy's

necklace ... mining museum gift shop

I'm feeling really good about this summer. I don't remember the last time I could sleep in until ridiculous hours, then get up and watch stupid reality tv shows, and then do it all over again the next day. I also get to go to flea markets, go to the beach, go basically anywhere. It's a refreshing ability.

A little bit about the outfit... I love that sparkly stone necklace. I picked it up when I worked at a summer camp last year; we went to an old mine. It was actually the mine used in Zoolander, fun fact of the day.

The cardi I typically wear as a belt more than anything. The sleeves are so long I can tie it into a bow. It's much much too hot for sweaters anyway.

Make up wise, I've adopted very basic neutral looks. I used to do the whole shebang, eyes cheeks lips and then some. My skin rioted, and now that it's recovered I'm much more careful. Pink lips and a light shimmer on the eyes, with a swipe of mascara, and then a swish of blush.

That's that. I'm in the mood to blog. It was months in the making, and now I finally feel the true motivation.

Creature of the Deep

scarf, Simply Vera Vera Wang
sweater, charity shop
jeans, Candies, Kohl's
sandals, Mossimo, Target

I feel like I have such a boring life. Eat. Sleep. Homework. Repeat.

Wore this to my Daddy's, he hates it when I wear the heels and  the dresses. You know, the typical attire.
Twas a boring day at the fathers, exploring the grounds and getting some vitamin D. We have a new litter of puppies, and they are beyond adorable. So so soft. I want to steal them home with me.

I'm finishing up getting pictures on my computer, and hope to have a nail polish review up soon. After that I have two hauls to work on. I have no life, yet somehow, no time to do anything. Maybe if my laptop wasn't such shat I wouldn't be trying to rip my hair out every time I want to upload photographs. I need my college present so bad.

That's All for Now Folks

sweater ... Asos
dress... Full Tilt
boots... Frye, my daddy's

Being a senior is that time that everyone says is the easiest out of high school. They're lying I tell you. I have two major assignments due on Monday, good thing I'm wasting time perusing the internet.

Prom's coming up, and... I already have a prom dress, but I just found one at a consignment shop for $36,  I'll have do a prom post to show you the finished look. I have no idea for shoes or hair or make up, only that the dress has to be a cream colour. I want a pretty light wispy look. It's all in my head, now I just have to find my vision in real life...

As for the outfit... it's nothing much, just a little pattern mixing. I had tights on, but it's been hot as all where I am, although it's quite chilly now though. The season's can't make up there minds.

Outfit of the day ... July 17th 2011

hat ... Forever 21

cover-up ... Givenchy

pants ... H&M

heels ... Lucky Brand

I'm desperately trying to play catch-up here. Yes it's August. Yes I have tons of things I want to talk about, Huntington Beach included. But I have to HAVE TO go in order, oldest first.

I had a graduation party to attend a few weeks ago, a pool/birthday/grad party. This is what I chose to wear. I think it might just be one of my favourite outfits I've put together. I'm loving my new beach hat, and the beaded bow is such a cute detail. The Givenchy cover-up is a perfect beachy touch. Don't be alarmed, I can't actually afford Givenchy. It's way vintage thanks to my Grandma working at the Givenchy manufacturing plant when she was a pretty young lady. She graciously gave it to me a few weeks ago, and I haven't been able to stop wearing it. My heels are also quite lovely. I love Lucky's relaxed boho fashion vibe. They're such a pretty colour, the open toe makes them laid back, and the wooden heel makes them casual. They also smell amazing. Leather mmm.

I don't want to start rambling in this post. But I will say I'm in the lovely California still and it's absolutely beautiful. I'm thinking this might just be my future home. Only time will tell :)

Outfit of the day. July 9 2011.

Had to go to a funeral a few weeks ago, but I didn't want to dress in drab black like everyone thinks they have to do. I feel like I was formal, but at the same time offer a bit of cheer with my floral print. It was a happy service anyhow.

Outfit of the Day

Went on a trip to the city last Wednesday to see How to Succeed, with the lovely Daniel Radcliffe. He was marvelous ! Some might think he's only as good as his Potter role, but he really truly is a versatile actor. Not once did I see him on stage as the Potter actor, I saw him for what he is: a good singer and excellent dancer - a true thespian. Along with Radcliffe, the show was quite good, and my friends and I got to do a little shopping before aand after; I'll definitely be doing a haul when I get the chance !

Peace and love,
